Some serious anchor-love.

 [DE] Erinnert ihr euch an diesen Post, in dem ich mir vorgenommen habe, viel häufiger einfach meine Sachen zu packen und einfach ans Meer abzuhauen? Ha, dieses Wochenende habe ich genau das getan und bin nach Kiel an die Ostsee getuckert. Und es war großartig! Ich bin ja ein absoluter Wind- und Sonnen-Fan und beides habe ich bekommen. In 200%-Dosis. Mit dabei hatte ich nur das Allernötigste, keine Lust auf jeglichen Schnickschnack und Chi-Chi. Dafür hatte ich aber umso mehr Spaß an meinem neuen Anker-Rucksack-Turnbeutel-Dingens, der übrigens auch in dem fabelhaften Eulenschnitt-Paket von letzter Woche war. Wie passend, dass ihn gleich der erste Ausflug in seine natürliche Umgebung (Anker und Meer und so, ihr versteht) geführt hat.

[EN] Do you remember this post, in which I decided to pack my belongings more often and just take a time-out at the coast? Well, ha - this is what I did this weekend and it was fabulous! I'm a ultimate wind&sun-fan and I got both as an overdose! I just packed a few things, no time for any chi-chi. But what couldn't be missed was my new anchor-backpack, which was also part of the great package I received last week from a little label called Eulenschnitt. And isn't it just fitting perfectly into the environment? :)

 [DE] Huch, Moment ist hier ja nun wirklich nicht viel los. Das wird sich aber hoffentlich bald ändern, denn am Freitagwerde ich ein Ultra-Stress-Projekt abschließen und dann auch wieder den Kopf für's Bloggen frei haben. So lange gibt's hier die brandneusten Bilder vom heutigen Sunday-funday, der mich und meinen Freund zum Frühstücken in ein zauberhaftes Café (das glücklicherweise auch bis 14 Uhr Frühstück anbietet) und ins Museum geführt hat. Auf die Gefahr mich zu wiederholen: Ich LIEBE Sonntage! 

Aber bevor ich mich zum exzessiven Pasta kochen verziehe, muss ich noch meine Begeisterung für mein neues Beanie loswerden! Ich bin ein absolut übertriebener Mützen- und Hüte-Fan und nenne eine nicht zu unterschätzende Menge ebendieser MEIN. Diesen Herbst kam lange gar kein neues Teil dazu - hat mir irgendwie alles nicht so gefallen oder hatte ich schon so ähnlich. Das hat sich aber durch die lieben Leute von Eulenschnitt (klick!) geändert - denn dank ihnen habe ich jetzt ein paar Neuzugänge, die mir nicht besser gefallen könnten! [EN] Well, it's kinda quiet around here lately but that's hopefully gonna change soon - because Friday I'll finish a super-stressy-project and then will have more time for blogging again.  

These pictures were taken at sunday-funday, which my boyfriend and me spent with breakfast in a lovely café, going for a walk and at the museum. At the risk of repeating myself: I LOVE SUNDAYS! Before I now head to some excessive pasta-cooking-thing, I definitely have to share my excitement for my new beanie! I'm a huge fan of all kinds of hats and beanies and already got a huge collection. This year I haven't collected any new babes because I just didn't find cool ones. But that changed when the dear people by Eulenschnitt (click!) sent me some amazing stuff (including two lovely beanies!). [DE] Ich bin ein prinzipiell unkluger Einkäufer. Richtiger: ich war es. Bei jedem Shoppingausflug landen zwar die wunderbarsten Sachen in meiner Tasche (z.B. wild gemusterte Blusen, gepunktete Jacken, gelbe Taschen, royalblaue High Heels), weil die eben so schön besonders aussehen. Und morgens stehe ich dann vor meinem Kleiderschrank und habe nichts anzuziehen. Warum nur? Weil mein verschlafener Kopf so früh leicht überfordert ist, aus oben genannten Zutaten ein einigermaßen stimmiges und alltagtaugliches Outfit herzustellen. Kurzfassung: Mir fehlen die Basics.

Bis vor 3 Tagen hatte ich z.B. keine schwarze Tasche in alltagstauglicher Größe. Von einem total kaputten und mistigen Primark-Exemplar mal abgesehen. Das ist jetzt aber vorbei: Tadadaaa zu meinem neuen Lieblingsstück! Und obwohl Basic, gar nicht langweilig durch die bling-bling-Goldschnallen, wie ich finde. Wir sind seit dem Wochenende jedenfalls unzertrennlich – und ihr werdet sie sicher häufiger in nächster Zeit zu Gesicht bekommen. Genau so wie die Cap, die auch funkelnagelneu ins Haus geflattert kam, aber ehrlicherweise dem Freund gehört - und der teilt ja gern, Gottseidank. Alles in allem ist das also mein Samstags-Stadtschlender-Eltern-Besuch-Outfit, das ich hauptsächlich deswegen mag, weil es verschiedene Styles mischt – Mädchenhafter Rock, maritimes Shirt und die überlässige Cap – ergibt irgendwie was sehr stimmiges für mich, in dem ich mich wohl fühle.

[EN] As a matter of principle, I am a really bad shopper. More correct: I used to be. On every shopping-trip, I buy the most awesome stuff (like wild-patterned blouses, dotted jackets, yellow bags and electric-blue heels), because they are SO LOVELY. And in the mornings I’m totally unable to cope with the content of my closet, because my tired brain can’t put a daily-use-outfit out of this. Outline of this: I need basics. Until friday I didn’t have a black bag in a medium-size, except for a lousy and broken one by Primark. But that’s over now: YAAAY to my new favorite bag! And altough it’s a basic, I don’t think it’s boring at all – see the golden bling-bling buckles!? Well, since weekend we are inseparable and you’ll get to see it a lot in the future, I guess. The cap is also brandnew, to be honest it’s my boyfriend’s, but fortunately he loves to share! All in all: this was my saturday-hanging-around-in-the-city-outfit, which I love mainly because it clashes with different styles – a girly skirt, maritime shirt and the casual cap – the mixture anyhow results ins something, I feel really comfortable in.

[DE]Ich bin zurück von meinem Mini-Urlaub an der Ostsee und kann nur sagen: Fabelhaft! Egal wie kurz man wegfährt, solange man in den paar Tagen das Meer im Blick und den Wind um die Nase hat, ist alles gut und Tiefenentspannung garantiert. Auf jeden Fall geht’s mir so. Wenn dann noch stundenlanges Lesen am Strand, frischer Fisch vom Sonntagsmarkt und abendliche Fruchtexplosions-Cocktails dazukommen bin ich rundum zufrieden und freue mich jetzt schon auf nächstes Wochenende – da geht’s nämlich nach 4 Monaten das erste Mal auf Heimatbesuch. Die Bilder sind (unschwer zu erkennen) am Strand entstanden, leider war es dann doch nicht so sommerlich-warm, aber für Rock und Jäckchen hat’s glücklicherweise gereicht. Neuzugänge im Kleiderschrank sind die weiße Tasche, die ich im H&M-Sale ergattert habe und das cropped-Top von Prettysucks . Und ich bin akut und schwer verliebt – der Spruch ist ja mal so absolut genau mein Fall und bei ersten Anziehen war’s dann definitiv um mich geschehen, das gute Stück fühlt sich nämlich wunderbar auf der Haut an und ist schön locker geschnitten, ideal für den Sommer also.

[EN] I’m back from my mini-vacation from the Baltic Sea and I can just say: fabulous. No matter how long you go away on a trip, as long you have one eye on the ocean and some wind blowing around your nose, everything’s fine and deep relaxation is guaranteed. At least for me. If I additionally get some reading on the beach, fresh fish bought at the harbour and vespertine cocktails – I’m more than satisfied with life.

The pictures were taken at the seaside and it’s a pity that the temperature wasn’t that summerly, but at least I could wear a skirt without any tights. New treasures in my closet are the cute white bag which I snatched during H&M sale and the cropped-top by Prettysucks. And I’m deeply in love with it – the quote is totally my cup of tea and when I’ve first put it on, it was all up on me, ‚cause this top is so comfortable and laxly tailored, perfect for summer thus.

[DE] Wie ihr sehen könnt, habe ich bereits ein Teil meiner Wishlist März eingetütet und gleich am Samstag ausgeführt. Die Streifenbluse sieht man jetzt ja auf so vielen Blogs, in Magazinen und sowieso überall - ganz zu Recht, wie ich finde. Auch von mir war das schwarz-weiße Schmückstück heiß begehrt und ist jetzt endlich mein - schade nur, dass man über all den schönen Sachen immer den ollen, dicken und schon lang nicht mehr gern getragenen (Hallo, es ist März!?) Wintermantel tragen muss. Das muss definitiv ein Ende haben, nur bedauernswerterweise versinkt Hamburg seit heute Nacht mal wieder im Schnee und ich dank des Windes, der den Schnee waagrecht durch die Stadt fegt, torkel jeden Morgen halb blind zur Arbeit. Ich erwäge tatsächlich den Kauf einer albernen Schneebrille. Memo an mich: Dringend zu Ostern schenken lassen.

[EN] As you can see, I treated myself with the first item of my March-wishlist and immediately took it out at Saturday. Striped blouses are now on almost all blogs, in magazines - well nearly everywhere. And I totally get it. Also much sighed-for by me and now finally mine - it's just a shame, that you still need to wear a winter coat, which covers all the beautiful clothes (helloooo, it's March!?). It definitely has to come to an end, but I'm kinda pessimistic, 'cause Hamburg is snowed under again since last night. It should be added, that the wind blows horizontal and that means, that I stagger half-blind to work every morning and consider to buy a ridiculous pair of snow glasses. Well, maybe that would be a lovely Easter gift for me. :)

[DE] Wenn ich so aus dem Fenster schaue und diese unerträglichen nordpolähnlichen Zustände erblicke, dann bekomme ich noch mehr Lust auf FRÜHLING, Sonne und vorallem allerlei Buntes. Weil ich in letzter kaum Zeit zum Einkaufen habe, habe ich (hauptsächlich nachts) viele Stunden mit Online-Schaufenster-Gucken verbracht und dabei erstaunlich viele zauberhafte Dinge erspäht. Diese Sachen will ich natürlich umgehend mit euch teilen - und damit wird es Zeit für eine neue Rubrik hier: 
Die Wishlist. (Hat man schon auf anderen Blogs gesehen - ich finde es aber immer total spannend, was andere sich so wünschen und und deswegen wird es jetzt einmal im Monat eine Vorstellung meiner aktuellen Lieblingsteile, die ich irgendwo entdeckt habe und die ich richtig gerne in meinem Kleiderschrank wissen möchte. 

Die Wishlist March enthält so gut wie keine schlichten Stücke, stattdessen leuchtendes Rot, Gelb, Streifen, Punkte und (herausheben möchte ich auch die Praktikabilität meiner Wunschliste) einen fabelhaften Schirm, auf den ich mich gar nicht genug freuen kann - in Hamburg regnet es ja bekanntermaßen sehr häufig und ich bin komplett ohne Schirm umgezogen - ein absolutes Must-have für mich also! Habt ihr auch Must-haves für den März oder habt ihr was entdeckt, das euch auch gefällt?

[EN] At the moment we got antarctic conditions here in northern Germany and all this snow, ice and poor temperature makes me even more crazy about SPRING, sun and a lot of colorful stuff. During the week I got hardly any freetime and so I did a lot of online-window-shopping, where I found tons of enchanting and cool items, which I immediately need to share with you and I think this is the birth of a new category here: The wishlist. I always love to see them on other blogs and therefore I'm going to present  you my latest findings once per month now.

My wishlist for March doesn't include any plain clothes, it's all about bright red, yellow, stripes, dots and (just to stress the practicability of my cravings!) this lovely umbrella, which I reallyreally need to have (it rains a lot here in Hamburg and I was too optimistic and moved here without ANY umbrella)! What about you, do you have any must-haves for March or can you spot something here, that you like?

DE Die Sonne scheint (Yaaaay!)und die ersten Krokusse sind über Nacht, wie von Geisterhand aufgetaucht! Das bedeutet: Rein ins Ringelshirt, Spazierengehen, die Frühlingsklamotten auspacken und so tun, als ob die schönste Jahreszeit schon so richtig vor der Tür steht. Ist natürlich absolut verfrühte Euphorie, macht aber Spaß und ist gut gegen die Winterdepression und Aufregung wegen dem immer näher rückendem Umzug. Habt ihr auch schon erste Frühlingsgefühle?

EN The sun is shining (Yaaaaay!) and the first crocuses appeared overnight as if by magic! That means: I put my striped shirt on, go for a walk, unpack my spring clothes and act as if the most beautiful season is already there. Well, of course that's premature anticipation but it's fun and helps against all this winter depression and excitement because of the near house moving. Are you also already in first spring fever?

Who's that Valentine again?

DE Zum heutigen Valentinstag kann ich nur sagen: Unnötig, überbewertet und uninteressant. Also für mich jetzt. Ich konnte noch nie etwas mit diesen, von der Wirtschaft erzwungenen "Wir-lieben-uns-alle-und-müssen-das-durch-uneinfallsreiche-aber-teure-Geschenke-beweisen"-Tagen anfangen. Dazu kommt, dass ich nicht so auf Romantik stehe. Und damit meine ich "Romantik" im Alltagsgebrauch, à la Kerzen, Rosen, grauenhaft langweiliger Jammermusik und stundenlanges in die Augen starren. Von meinem Freund erwarte ich am heutigen Tag nur eins: Das er den Valentinstag tunlichst übergeht und mir bitte keine rosafarbene Pralinenschachtel oder sonstigen Schmu schenkt.

Romantik ist für mich nämlich was ganz anderes und kommt meist unerwartet und oft in den denkbar unpassensten Momenten: Wenn ich mit meinem Freund zusammen in furchtbar häßlichen Jogginghosen mit einer riesigen Tüte Popcorn vor irgendeinem trashigen Film sitze, rübergucke und mich das Gefühl packt, wie wahnsinnig gern ich meine Zeit mit ihm verbringe und wie wunderschön ich ihn finde, genau in diesem Moment unter denkbar wenig vorteilhaften Bedingungen (beiderseits). Oder wenn ich Pläne für die Zukunft schmiede und beschließe, dass die nur 700 km weit entfernt in Hamburg liegen kann, und er sagt: "Gut, ich bin dabei, wann geht's los?" Dann wird aus vagen Vorstellungen und Wünschen plötzlich eine gemeinsame Vision, die man sich zusammen Stück für Stück erkämpft und zur Realität macht. Wenn das mal nicht nicht romantisch ist. 

EN Valentine's day: I call it needless, overrated and of no interest at all. Well, for me. I never liked these forced "We-are-so-in-love-and-gotta-show-this-with-boring-but-expensive-gifts"-days and additional I'm not into 'romantic stuff' like tons of candles, roses, horrendous lamentation-music and staring in each others eyes for hours. All I expect from my boyfriend for Valentine's day is that he disregards it and please doesn't give me a pink chocolate box or something else that useless.

Romance is something totally different to me and often appears surprisingly and inappropriate: When I'm sitting in front of a trashy film, wearing horrible sweatpants and eating big amounts of popcorn with my boyfriend and suddenly realize, HOW I love to spend my time with him and HOW beautiful I think he is, just at this very moment, on these unflattering terms. Or when I make plans for the future and decide, that I wanna live 700 km away in Hamburg and he says: Well, let's do this! That's when a vague idea becomes a common vision, which you together fight for to make it happen. That's what counts and what I call romance.

DE Ich bete ja jeden Abend für ein Wunder. Möglichst in Form eines sofortigen Frühlingsbeginns. Ich hab den Winter absolut satt und all das, was ich den kalten Jahreszeiten an Gutem abgewinnen kann (Tee trinken, eingekuschelte Film-Marathons mit Wärmflasche und tafelweise Schokolade, Lesen bei Kerzenschein) habe ich schon so ausgiebig zelebriert, dass da nun wirklich kein Bedarf mehr besteht. Es wird ganz dringend Zeit für Sonne, Blumen, Café-Außenbestuhlung, das erste Eis und vorallem für Veränderung. Ich zähle die Tage bis zu meinem Umzug nach Hamburg (noch DREI Wochen!) und kann es so gar nicht mehr erwarten, aber man kennt das ja: Je mehr man sich auf etwas freut, desto langsamer vergeht die Zeit. Argh.  

Wie ist es bei euch, seid ihr auch so total bereit für den Frühling?

EN I desperatly pray for a premature beginning of spring. I'm so tired of winter and I already made an extensive use of all the good stuff, which the cold seasons offer (drinking tea, having cozy movie-sessions with my hottie, reading novels candlelit). It's really about time for sun, flowers, sitting IN FRONT of a café, first ice-cream and especially some change. I count the days till I'm moving to Hamburg (three weeks!) and I just can't wait! But we all know, time is lagging, when you're looking forward to something. Argh. What about you, are you also totally ready for springtime?
