[Outfit] Stripes, cap and a new black beauty.

[DE] Ich bin ein prinzipiell unkluger Einkäufer. Richtiger: ich war es. Bei jedem Shoppingausflug landen zwar die wunderbarsten Sachen in meiner Tasche (z.B. wild gemusterte Blusen, gepunktete Jacken, gelbe Taschen, royalblaue High Heels), weil die eben so schön besonders aussehen. Und morgens stehe ich dann vor meinem Kleiderschrank und habe nichts anzuziehen. Warum nur? Weil mein verschlafener Kopf so früh leicht überfordert ist, aus oben genannten Zutaten ein einigermaßen stimmiges und alltagtaugliches Outfit herzustellen. Kurzfassung: Mir fehlen die Basics.

Bis vor 3 Tagen hatte ich z.B. keine schwarze Tasche in alltagstauglicher Größe. Von einem total kaputten und mistigen Primark-Exemplar mal abgesehen. Das ist jetzt aber vorbei: Tadadaaa zu meinem neuen Lieblingsstück! Und obwohl Basic, gar nicht langweilig durch die bling-bling-Goldschnallen, wie ich finde. Wir sind seit dem Wochenende jedenfalls unzertrennlich – und ihr werdet sie sicher häufiger in nächster Zeit zu Gesicht bekommen. Genau so wie die Cap, die auch funkelnagelneu ins Haus geflattert kam, aber ehrlicherweise dem Freund gehört - und der teilt ja gern, Gottseidank. Alles in allem ist das also mein Samstags-Stadtschlender-Eltern-Besuch-Outfit, das ich hauptsächlich deswegen mag, weil es verschiedene Styles mischt – Mädchenhafter Rock, maritimes Shirt und die überlässige Cap – ergibt irgendwie was sehr stimmiges für mich, in dem ich mich wohl fühle.

[EN] As a matter of principle, I am a really bad shopper. More correct: I used to be. On every shopping-trip, I buy the most awesome stuff (like wild-patterned blouses, dotted jackets, yellow bags and electric-blue heels), because they are SO LOVELY. And in the mornings I’m totally unable to cope with the content of my closet, because my tired brain can’t put a daily-use-outfit out of this. Outline of this: I need basics. Until friday I didn’t have a black bag in a medium-size, except for a lousy and broken one by Primark. But that’s over now: YAAAY to my new favorite bag! And altough it’s a basic, I don’t think it’s boring at all – see the golden bling-bling buckles!? Well, since weekend we are inseparable and you’ll get to see it a lot in the future, I guess. The cap is also brandnew, to be honest it’s my boyfriend’s, but fortunately he loves to share! All in all: this was my saturday-hanging-around-in-the-city-outfit, which I love mainly because it clashes with different styles – a girly skirt, maritime shirt and the casual cap – the mixture anyhow results ins something, I feel really comfortable in.

[DE] Mit einer Mischung aus Interesse und ein bißchen Argwohn habe ich den letzten Wochen diese "Sporty chic"-Geschichte bei Lookbook, Instagram und auf vielen anderen Blogs verfolgt und (wie das bei mir so oft der Fall ist) wusste erstmal so gar nicht, wie ich das ganze finden soll.  Mein Freund besitzt ein riesiges Arsenal an den verschiedensten Caps (ich unterstelle, dass das sein Äquivalent zu meinem Schuhschrank ist) und ich habe mir in den letzten Jahren immer mal wieder eine ausgeborgt, aber weniger aus modischen Gründen sondern als Lösung für haartechnische Problemsituationen oder, einfach und banal, als Sonnenschutz. Dass das jetzt zu einem Trend wird, konnte ja niemand ahnen, ist aber doch nachvollziehbar - ich für meinen Teil mag ja eine großzügige Portion Lässigkeit und Stilbrüche sind auch eine ganz prächtige Angelegenheit. Und dafür eignen sich Caps doch äußerst gut - ohne viel Aufwand kann man ein ganzes Outfit nochmal um ein paar Grad gedreht werden erhält eine vollkommen andere Note. Was sagt ihr: Caps - yay oder nay?

[EN] The last months I watched this whole "sporty chic"-thing on lookbook and a lot of other blogs with a lot of interest and also some suspicion and didn't know exactly how to estimate this trend. My boyfriend owns an arsenal of caps (I tend to imply that this is his equvialent to my shoe-collection) and during the last years every now and then I borrowed one of them. Well, this had nothing to do with any fashion-aspects but with really-bad-hair days or simply to protect my pale face from the sun. Nobody could have predicted that this cap-thing would turn into such a boom but it's kind of understandable. For my part, I love a large portion of laxness and especially breaches of style - and that's what caps are perfect for. They can make a whole outfit flip one-eighty and give it a totally different note. What do you think: caps - yay or nay?
