[Outfit] Spring Fever!

 [DE] Und jedes Jahr bin ich wieder erstaunt, welche Auswirkungen die Sonne hat. Nicht nur auf mich, sondern auch auf all die Menschen um mich herum, auf das Stadtbild, die ganze Stimmung - there's some love going on right here. 19 Grad am Sonntag und Hamburg packt die Picknickdecken, Sonnenbrillen und vor allem sein schönstes Lächeln aus. Der Alsterpark war gefüllt von grinsenden, eis-essenden und händchenhaltenden Menschen - ein Traum. Freund und ich mittendrin, selbstverständlich mit Waldmeister-Eis und erstem Frühlingsoutfit ausstaffiert.Und wenn es um einen herum nur so sprießt und blüht, gibt es fast nichts Feineres als selbst ein bisschen zu blühen, oder? Dazu habe ich endlich meinen (nicht mehr ganz neuen) Sweater mit Blütenspitzenärmeln ausgepackt, der seit November auf seinen Ausgang wartet. Ich finde ihn großartig - insbesondere zu einem so schlicht gehaltenen Sonntag-Hauptsache-bequem-Outfit. Was sagt ihr? Und wie habt ihr diese wunderschönen ersten Frühlingstage verbracht?

[EN] And every year I’m again amazed about the impact of the sun. Not only to me but also to all the people around me, the cityscape, the whole mood - there's some love going on right here. We’ve got 19 degrees on Sunday and immediately Hamburg unpacks picnic blankets, sunglasses and especially it’s most radiant smile. The park was filled with grinning, ice-eating and hands-holding people – no more grumpy faces and winter blues going on. My boy and I were totally taking part in this first round of spring fever, including woodruff ice-cream and the first vernally outfits. Andi f everything around you is sprouting and blooming , is there anything better blooming yourself a little? No! For this reason I’ve put on my (not really new) sweater with floral lace-sleeves, which waited for its output since November now. I think it's just great - especially to upvalue such a modest comfy-sunday outfit. What do you say? How did you spend these first spring-days?

[DE] Doch, natürlich kann man im Spitzenröckchen in den Wald maschieren! Vor allem wenn man sich auf dem Sonntagsspaziergang dorthin verirrt und auch noch ein grünes Oberteil dazu kombiniert, was natürlich total geplant war. Soviel zu meinem Sonntagsoutfit, das mit gleich zwei Vintage-Stücken aufwartet, die auch beide seit Jahren zu meinen absoluten Lieblingsteilen gehören. (Memo an mich: Endlich mal wieder auf den Flohmarkt gehen!) Ansonsten genieße ich den Altweiber-Sommer (ja, ihr hattet definitiv Recht mit euren letzten Kommentaren, zum Glück!) und träume von Urlaub. November dann so. Ich hoffe, euch geht's fein, kommt gut in die letzte Augustwoche!

[EN] Sure you can march straight into the woods in a little lace-skirt! Especially when you get lost while your sunday’s stroll and additionally combine a green shirt to it (that was SO planned!). Well, that’s it about my sunday’s outfit, which comes up with even 2 vintage-pieces, which belong to my all-time favorite items for years now (that remeinds me, that I definitely need to go to a flewmarket next weekend!). Apart from that, I enjoy indiansummer and dream of vacation. Maybe in november then.. I hope you’re fine and enjoy the last days of august!

DE Da kommt man aus dem kalten Hamburg zurück und denkt, dass in der Heimatstadt mal wieder absonderlich hohe Temperaturen herrschen und dann das: Wo-zum-Henker-sind-meine-Thermoleggins-aber-eigentlich-will-ich-lieber-drinnen-bleiben-Temperaturen und Schnee, aber wirklich haufenweise. Das hat man ja gern. Wenn er auf emotionaler Ebene dringend gebraucht wird (Weihnachten, Silvester, Winterurlaub) denkt er nicht dran, uns mit seiner Anwesenheit zu beglücken. Doch sobald man anfängt seine Fühler in Richtung Frühling zu strecken, sich mit den Frühlings- und Sommerkollektionen beschäftigt, es gar nicht mehr abwarten kann, den Strickpulli in den hintersten Teil des Schranks zu verbannen, die Tage bis zum Frühlingsanfang zählt und alles für ein klitzekleines bißchen Sonnenschein geben würde, steht er vor der Tür. Beziehungsweise liegt im Garten. Nur leider hilft Meckern nicht und arrangieren ist angesagt. Mein Mantra: Wenn schon kalt, dann wenigstens mit weißer Fluffdekoration. Das gilt auch für mich übrigens, wie ihr an meinem Rock sehen könnt. Sehr bauschig, sehr mädchenhaft und selten getragen. Aber manchmal muss es eben die Extraportion Mädchenkram sein.

EN Coming back from my Hamburg trip, I assumed that the temperature in my home town would be outlandish high (like always) but think again! Sub-zero temperatures and tons of snow, and that's what nobody needs right now. Where have you been, when we needed you in emotional terms like christmas, New Year's Eve and winter holidays? I'm just putting out my feelers to spring, fiddling with spring/summer collections, can't wait to banish my knits and count the days till there's going to be just a little sunshine again. But all that moaning will get us nowhere. My mantra for these days: Let's go the whole hog. Freezing sucks but at least we got a fluffy white decoration. That also applies to me, parading my very puffy,very maiden and rarely worn lace skirt. But sometimes it's just all about that extraportion girly-stuff.
