Keeping the balance.

[DE] Letztes Wochenende war eins von der guten Sorte – total unspektakulär und gerade deshalb so wahnsinnig toll.  Endlich mal wieder ausgiebig nach Rezept kochen,  Eissorten aus der Kindheit wiederentdecken, Kartenspielen auf einer Waldbank. Und als das Wetter dann doch mitgespielt hat: In der Sonne schmoren, Sekt mit Aloha-Brause schlürfen, neu erworbene Bücher verschlingen – und das alles auf dem heimischen Balkon. Manchmal muss es einfach der runtergeschaltete Gang sein – dafür freue ich mich jetzt schon auf die nächsten beiden, die werden nämlich genau das Gegenteil!

[EN] Last weekend was one of the really good ones – totally  unspectacular and just because for that reason: freakin’ awesome. Finally some ‚real’ cooking with recipes again, re-discovering icecream, which I loved in my childhood, playing cards in the woods. And when the sun decided to show up: Lying in the sun, drinking sparkling-wine with lemonade, reading new books – everything on my balcony. Sometimes it hast o be  more relaxed and with no hurries at all – but I’m looking forward to the next two weekends - they’re going to be the total opposite!

[Hamburg diary] It's springmagic.

[DE] Et voilá: Meine Favoriten aus der Bilderkiste der letzten zwei Wochenenden - fast textlos überlasse ich euch jetzt meinen Aufnahmen, die sicherlich ganz deutlich zeigen, was hier gerade ausgebrochen ist. Frühlingszauberfreude, Koch-&Naschlust, Elbstrandentspannung und Sonnenspaß nämlich. Wir lesen uns in ein paar Tagen, dann mit mehr Gequatsche und einem neuen Outfitpost. :)

[Hamburg-diary] Sunny side up.

Ahoi sweethearts!

[DE] Das fabelhaft sonnige und entspannte Wochenende wurde in bester Gesellschaft und mit enorm viel Hamburg-Sightseeing verbracht: Michel, Hafen, Fischmarkt, Schifffahrt und St.Pauli-Flohmarkt - dazwischen gab's gepflegte Getränke, prächtige Eiskugeln und die Erkenntnis, dass ich mich immer mehr in Hamburg verliebe und mich hier zwar wie Alice im Nordlichtland aber auch langsam ein klitzekleines bißchen heimisch fühle. Und nächstes Wochenende geht die Entdeckungstour weiter - es gibt so viel zu sehen und ich will dieser Stadt auf die Pelle rücken, aber so richtig.

[EN] The fabulous and sunny weekend was spent in best company and with loads of Hamburg-sightseeing: Michel, harbour, fishmarket, boat trip and a really cool flewmarket - time between was filled with lovely drinks, magnificent ice-cream and the insight, that I fall in love with this city even more every day. I somehow feel like Alice in northern-wonderland but slowly it starts to feel a bit like home. And next weekend the expedition will continue - there's  so much to see and I wanna get as close as possible.
